Terms of Use

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using GPS Track Log (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.

2. The service

The app is a personal GPS track recorder for iPhone (iOS 17 or later). You can record, pause, and end tracks; add waypoints with notes and photos; view distance, effective time, point count, and step count; export GPX, KML, or a full backup; optionally end recording when you return to a home area; and see recording status on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island when the system allows it. A banner ad may appear on the Start screen. The app does not require an account.

3. License and your data

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. The app software remains ours. Tracks, waypoints, photos, and backup files you create belong to you. You are responsible for any file you export or share.

4. Using the app

Please keep the following in mind.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not:

6. Advertising

The Start screen may show a banner from Google AdMob. Ads are provided by Google under Google’s policies. In some regions a consent message appears before personalized ads.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the app, including location errors, estimated paths, lost tracks, ads, or interrupted recording. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived in your country.

8. Privacy

How the app uses information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s terms also apply. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. The text on this page is the current version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest still applies.
